The DTV Digest – Episode 036 – 6 Days, Final Flight, Resurrection of Evil – Special Guest: Leif Johnson

We were very honoured this week to have a guest join us – Leif Johnson, director of the great short action film, Kowloon Killers. He not only gives a great interview but also sticks around to deliver our “Beginner’s Guide to…” section, which this week involves the Hong Kong Heroic Bloodshed genre. If you haven’t seen any of the titles we talk about, you really should go check them out!

On top of that, Rich and Mike review three films, two of which have had name changes. First up is the Jamie Bell-led dramatic retelling of the Iranian Embassy seige in 1980. We follow that with Final Flight (aka Chariot, aka Missing) and wrap up with Resurrection of Evil (aka Havenhurst (a much better title, yes?). And then there’s the usual DTV Chart, Coming Soon and Washing Up sections!

CHECK IT OUT AND BLEAT THE WORD!
